Tuscany was a Granducato in the first half of the nineteenth century. A memory now faded from time, but which can still give emotions, making us imagine an ancient saddlery with a sweet smell of leather; the Fontanelli family has been working on it since the distant 1860s when they produced saddles. The Corrado and Remigio Fontanelli brothers founded RECO’S exactly in 1970, and started making their products. Manual skills in weaving have been part of the family know how since the last century.
A family business located in Tuscany, the heart of Italian leather goods, in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Chianti area, near Florence. For over half a century it has been producing and marketing women’s handbags, wallets and belts under its own brand Fontanelli and Fontanelli by Reco’s taking care of its details and finishes that are still handmade today. High craftsmanship, making use of the precious heritage received as a legacy and further refined during their long career is what defines Fontanelli by Reco's.
